[QUOTE=brian41;4154020]Th only reasons I would make a change is MPG towing that much weight should be double with the 6.6 and the torque goes from 455 on the 8.1 to 785 on the new 6.6, thats a huge difference.
The dealer wants me to bring in my truck for trade but I already know the lowball he will shoot me and thats not going to happen, I know my truck has value and real don't want to get rid of it. Last week I installed a Pioneer DIN, DVD touch screen GPS, rear view camera with JL speakers. All it needs now is new tires because it still has the tires from new.[/QUOTE
Brian,,donrt let it go for less that 22k..

You will be disappointed with one of those as a daily driver, really disappointed when it runs out of warranty!
My buddy is a service manager at a MB store, it stuns me on how bad these cars have gotten. I lemon lawed 2 (E500/ GL SUV) and those were pretty basic/bulletproof platforms. They take 1 step forward with technology, 2 steps back with reliability. I work for a guy with a Renntech CLS AMG, car is fast stock but it got stupid fast after Hartmut got ahold of it!

I have a 2500hd with the 8.1. For some reason you can throw the kbb and nada guides out for that particular truck....they bring much more money than book! I was planning on selling but I am changing my mind. That is the holy grail of gas trucks.
