that cant be right ,,,they list the 33 outlaw at 7500lbs and we know that is a much bigger and heavier boat,

so I say the 35 Fountain should come in at a solid 3500lbs

A half ton would be plenty to tow a 35 Fountain. They are only 31ft boats and very cheap and light. Now, if it was a 35 Cafe Racer, it would weigh 29k lbs on an aluminum trailer. Built like tanks.

Yet JUST light enough that it's OK to tow with a 10,000 lbs. aluminum adjustable drawbar. Just check out the Cigarette section.

I agree with you about the Fountains, half ton would be overkill but I can see were one might need it if the cooler was full..

but pulling a 35 cafe racer? I heard those are built in the water, way too heavy to pull ,but they do reach 85mph on gps with twin 2.5 iron dukes spinning the props out.

beside been fast , stable ,and sharp looking ,how you like it so far?

I'm surprised a 2005 35 fountain with bravos only weighs 4k lbs less than a 1985 38 cig with speedmasters, boxes, blowers , on a steel box tube trailer.

Maybe with more guys scaling their boats we will find out if the cigs are slow cuz they are heavy, or slow because the bottom design resembles a 1974 deep vee fishing boat :)

S -10 Blazer for the Fountain...... and nothing short of a Peterbuilt for an Apache !!!!
