Have you run the truck over empty? Do you know what the truck axles weigh without the boat?

So much for the thought that Fountains are fast because they are light..

It`s a 11K boat with trailer, my 33Outlaw was 12K with steel trailer.

ok so you had a heavy trailer,,whats your point?

Im surprised a 2005 35 Fountain weighs that much. Just guessing but prob around 1k lb tongue weight? 12k lbs with only 60 gallons of fuel in it, on a trailer which looks to be aluminum? Thats not a light boat imo. Well, for what you would think a modern 35 Fountain at least. Prob close to 10k lbs fully fueled on the water.

Tim's welded aluminum Manning trailer probably rivals the weight of a steel trailer. It's built really stout.

Next time, drop the tongue stand on the scale, with the truck off the scale and get the weight differential. That's a better figure to know.
