Thanks man I'm planning on painting the top middle and bottom of the mirrors. I'm not going crazy on this lift just 2.5 and 35's the ones that are on it are 34's I want to still be able to pull 5th wheel if needed.

2001 f350 12" lift 37" tires. 32' tag enclosed trailer. car, 2 engines, 2 trans, 1 golf cart, 2 quads and a large tool box. around 11,000 lbs. 75 MPH. good. Same truck 6" lift 35" tires. 70 to 82 MPH GREAT! my 2002 f250 4" lift 34" tires. 28' enclosed 9000 to 9500 lbs. or 22' big block liberator about 5000 lbs with trailer. 50 to 80 ish mph GREAT! total tow miles are around 25,000 miles on the first truck. 3500 miles on the second truck. I did like both trucks with dual shocks in the front. also less break dive and the steering seemed to respond better.

My set up:
2004 GMC 2500 HD, 6 inch fabtech lift, 35s.

pulling fully loaded Baja 342 boss (rolling with no fuel is right at 20k on a CAT scale) I have never had any ill effect from the lift.

I had a truck with 38's that I towed with. The ride was great while towing but I did notice a decrease in braking, especial when backing down a steep ramp. I'd love to see some accurate testing data on braking distances with larger diameter tires. I think 1/2 tons would be a huge difference with the smaller brakes they have.
