No, no, I bought a '14, it was North American Auto Show Truck of the Year...now I have to find an 85 Bayliner Capri to tow around, because they were Boat of the Year, and I like the classics.

I went with a '14 off the lot for the savings. Test drove the F-150 SCab and liked it, but the combination of 4 standard opening doors and 6'5" bed edged it out.
I wanted, in order of importance:
"1" for first digit of VIN
V8 with decent hp/tq
Minimum 3.42 numerical gear
Locking differential
Extended cab
4WD
I wasn't sold on the red, but my late father used to drive red trucks when I was growing up, and the salesman swore red trucks have an automatic 10% increase in towing, so I took it.

I didn't research it, but a friend's baby's momma's cousin's dad told me that rule only applied to diesels, and he has a 330/Alpha boat that does 80, so I consider him kind of an authority on these matters.... ROTFLMAO!

Too many spark plugs and too few wheels to tow that, sir!
We're still cool, right? I mean, I started a tow capacity thread and bought a SRW gasser, I'm a little concerned you're northbound with a truckload of edged weapons and munitions.

Yeah, the 20s look good, I just need to paint mine
....and get a tonneau
....and get the flat black rally stripes
....and get some weathertech/huskyliner mats
....and get some seat covers
....and get a bedliner
.....or I could just go see a shrink at $100/hr.... Probably would be cheaper.
