Gimme a break.....

Done nothing on my power strokes but put diesel in them with the exception of a freak failure on my 7.3 of a solenoid which was a 20 dollar fix.

The shortcomings on these trucks are well documented and if anyone doesn't spend 5 minutes figuring out the very easy cures than buyer beware. 8 bolts and twenty minutes to remove the Dpf solves all the problems that "gimme" described. Regens and light duty with the emissions crap on kills them.

I will say I was really disappointed in my 6.4 batteries which gave up the ghost after 5 years whereas my 7.3 batteries lasted 12 years

Isn't removing emissions equipment a violation of federal law.So fixing your diesel equipped truck to run makes you a felon?

Nice sales pitch lol.

Ford lost their class action on the 6.0's and the 6.4's are probably not far behind:

And I'm not trying to endlessly defend because I'm not brand loyal. They all have their faults, but the ford 6.4 faults are very easily correctable and turn the truck into a great performer so to paint them as bayliners based off a lack of knowledge is a little short sighted

Totally agree with Seaford as all OEM"s have their problems here is GM for the past 7 years.

Don't get me started on GM's issues. They should be drawn and quartered for their wheel bearing issues on the 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks. No warning whatsoever and the bearing assemblies will blow right out rendering the vehicle useless. Or the fuel sending units that completely rot out in 5 years to the tune of about 900 bucks to fix. Every manufacturer has plenty to be ashamed of, and I get to see them all.

Here, I will get you started with this, as the car owner will be bringing it in for repairs every week bare min. What in the world was thinking on this for the consumer. Kind of reminds me of the current boat apps of how you can not get to anything to work on it. You have to watch the full video. How dumb and read the comments below the vid. funny.

WTF?? So you need 2 people to open the hood so you don't break it, and by the way make sure you have some screwdrivers too prop it open, and hopefully you don't scratch the $hit out of it in the process. I like how the guy says that they should only be opening the hood if the car is in the shop, but what if you need to do something as simple as put washer fluid in it. That is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. If that is German engineering at it's finest I will stick to American made.
