Well, the wife did not want to sell her Yukon so I ended up with a PU, couldn't see the need for a Suburban and a Yukon for a 3 person family. Got a 02 F250 supercab with a 7.3, definitely overkill for my needs but I think the resale on used diesels will be worth it in long run. I'll get more use out of a PU than a Burb.

Good luck with the new truck. I would not consider a F250 with a 7.3 overkill for a 32ft, 9k lb boat. I'd say it's a good match. And F650, that may be overkill.

I agree, I meant the amount that I actaully will be towing the boat, I rack store so it's only a couple times a year, but I do want to take the boat on vacation somewhere this summer.
