Lots of good info here so far. I'm on my 2nd 6.4 truck first one was stock. it made a ton of power, but the regen to clean the damn filter is annoying and not good for the life of the engine. My current truck is a 2008 F450 and I love this truck. Has almost 140k miles on it with no issues. It is tuned and deleted, gets better milage than the stock 250 did and will pull whatever I wanna hook to it. They are great engines if you learn about them, how to bulletproof them and how to maintain them. Do the work and don't drive it like a corvette....

I watched a 2001 "7.3L" F350 XLT Lariat with 96k on it bring $18,600 at Orlando auto action last week. It was far from a gem, but defiantly reinforced what I'd been hearing about low mileage 7.3 crew cabs fetching 20k on eBay lately. But then you couldn't touch a 6.7L truck for under $40k either...
