I hadn't even considered calling Myco for whatever reason. I'll call them now and inquire.
Edit: I called Myco and they are not able to offer that service for at least 2yrs 😳 I asked if he could offer any of their hull mapping info for the 382, and of course he said only if they do the work. I reminded him that he turned down the work and didn't get anywhere. He recommended just finding a local competent welder to make the changes.... |
Can't blame them there. Just didn't hurt to ask.

382 trailer
I have a trailer for a 382. Triple heavy duty Eagle with drive gaurd, work boxes, and power tongue. I would sell it, just never really thought about it before, but I never take the boat anywhere and it's on a lift at LOTO....

I'd go with Croker's offer. By the time you spend the money and effort to convert the MYCO, it will get up there. Plus, you'll have more trailer than you need. I have a 30' trailer, and a 38' trailer, and that extra 8' is significant when turning corners. It actually makes the 30' trailer seem nimble. I'd think a 42' trailer would be even more to deal with.

Manning is a great trailer, but for the money, the Myco will be hard to beat. But I'm very interested in Croaker's Eagle trailer since it has drive guards and is already bunked for a 382....
Croaker, check your PM |
Hell for $ 100 and a new hacksaw I will do it........:eekdrop:

Myco offered to redo my bunks when I switched boats. So they will work on their older trailers. They said they'd make sure it was all balanced properly. I think the cost was 3k but don't remember for sure. Mine was originally made for a 38 Fountain and is a model 36-38 iirc
