That wasn't necessary for you to do, as they could have mailed you your tolls with your licences plate.

WAY more expensive though. They add a processing fee for such.

LOL! That happened to me last month. I have to look more closely, but I don't think there was a processing fee on there.

They add a fee, as a matter of fact when you register your Sunpass online don't forget to include trailer license plate as well as your tow vehicle.

Sometimes the sun pass doesn't read and then they use your plate, but if the trailer hasn't been registered they add a fee and send it to you.

I found this out while towing my boat once.

Why doesn't FL get with the program and accept EZ-Pass like most of the other east coast states?

Every place has to be unique, Bay Area has FastPass, Illinois has IPass, Florida is SunPass, tho I will say, IPass and EZ Pass do work together and can be used interchangeably. One for the country would be nice.

I will be towing back without a license on the trailer, in Kentucky we don't have to license our trailers. Wonder how that will work out?

IF you are buying from a dealer, they can likely give you a temporary tag for the trailer. I think I'd want something on there for a road trip of such with a newly purchased boat.

You might even go so far as to have a plastic plate made up by a sign shop that says: KY Trailer, No Plates Req'd
I've seen others with something similar.

I think its funny that you dont need to register a trailer in Kentucky. That has got to make it easy for thieves to simply take trailers and re sell them.
