Enerour32 why did you need the adapter? Did the brakes not work at all?

Question, I have been thinking of going E OH on my twin axel trailer. I also would like to add brakes to my second axel . My rear axle does have disks. I assume I should first add the additional disk and then the EOH. How difficult is this and what does it involve?

Thanks,

Padraig

They were jerky when they did work (when) being the key word.

It`s kinda straight forward , install backing plate that the caliper mounts to , put bearings and rear seal into rotor assembly, I highly recommend checking the rear seal and if incorrect ordering the black Dexter seals. http://www.easternmarine.com/dexter-...eal-010-010-00 love those !
The seals in the kit were too large (2.25) , last trailer I did not check this and all the grease went out the back.

Running the brake lines is a pain if the boat is on the trailer. Would have taken half the time not crawling underneath. The line install kits are great, (http://www.easternmarine.com/Brake-L...-and-Fittings/) except for being short 2 Brake Line Hose Frame Bracket for Flex Hoses.

This is what sucks about electric brakes,

Etrailer can't tell you that it will work due to liability reasons, but it will. Simple mount and cut in. Carlisle Hydrastar and Titan make them. Since you have a Titan actuator, I would get the one by Titan. Cheaper and smaller. All it does is fool your controller into thinking your trailer is all electric. You can buy two brake magnets and do the same thing, just more wiring.
