Hi everyone - just wanted to share my recent experiences with a Ford F150- crewcab short bed.
I was able to "rent" a F150 for a day. In general the entire experience was very nice- The truck has approximately 24000 miles on it. It rode and handled just wonderful. Fuel economy was about 18 mpg- all highway at 75mph (at least that is what the cruise was set at). Pick-up was great and overall comfort was better than I would have expected. To be honest it was hard for me to believe that I was in a truck how quiet and smooth it ran on the road. I'm not sure of the engine size but for sure it had NO problem with gitty up and go-
I wish that I could have this in a F250 - I really want diesel- to haul the boat etc. But what I experienced with the F150 was grand.
Take care

I have a 2016 F150 right now for work. It's the crew cab 6.5' bed, 5.0L. Seats feel like I'm sitting on a park bench, and it's no fun in a parking garage. Other than that, I like the truck. Better mirrors, interior storage, and accessory charging than my Silverado. I think my Silverado has a far more comfortable interior, though.
