Not a single manufacturer quoted me 5K axles.
What kind of warranty do any of them offer? |
Which doesn`t make much sense to me 21,000lbs worth of axles and only 15K capacity?
Personally I think 8K axles would be better. the boat is 13, 500 dry. I`ll make a phone call and see if I can upgrade. I see your point on resale. To justify 1/3 additional cost for maybe one day someday when I sell it may be a salt user ?? Eh |
Nice looking 67' Caprice, I have a 66' Impala.

Dan I was super happy with my experience with Manning. They built a quality trailer at a affordable cost for our Formula. I elected to go aluminum for the additional weight savings and torsion axles as well corrosion resistance since the trailer would be sitting a majority of time and the silver won't look so shabby behind that beautiful dually.
My main concern is fitment. I can build the baddest trailer ever made but if the boat doesn`t fit properly, it`s all for nothing. "shimming" and adjustable bunks I`d rather not. |

Nice thing about a welded aluminum trailer is that it looks just like the day you bought it 12 years after the fact. Never looks awesome like a brand new custom painted trailer, but never looks like crap when stone chips and welds start to rust either.

oooh I just found a RED one on LameBook
http://33outlaw.zenfolio.com/img/s7/...68615143-4.jpg red and black wheels like your Vet Sydways.. That`s the best color combo, and company colors! http://33outlaw.zenfolio.com/img/s11...68619531-3.jpg |

Eh When I was hell bent on buying a 38EC and looking for a trailer I had it narrowed down to Manning and Haul Rite. I was quoted about the same specs as you. I called them and asked about the 15k cap. with 21k axles. I was told they like to rate them lite due to people over loading them. I was also told they would change the capacity if I wanted. |
Mannings are pretty nice no doubt .
