Im reading on the truck forums that 05,08,09 and 11's have had issues some 15's with the in cab controller, interesting go on ebay the 05-07 controller is 315 bucks but you can get a 2017 for 100 bucks 2011-16 110.00.....wth

07 is programmed different. PM RV from OSO he went through all this and replaced his controller and everything worked great. I have an 07 F350 and the stock controller works awesome.

F2, as Kris mentioned I went through the same trouble you are having. Your post #2 is correct. Get a later model controller from Ford. It fits/plugs in to the same location, looks the same but functions with EOH controller. I have a HydraStar and it works fine. You can be stopped and pinch the two levers on controller and brakes activate. You could not do that with version that came with truck. My build date was in the range that had the problem.

thanks rv................problem Im finding is I cant find an 07 controller, the ones on line state there for 2005 thru 2007.........is there a part number on the 07 controller that I can search for ??

Well much to my surprise, I have brakes..............bleed the trailer brakes and the controller seems to working fine with the Dexter pump. Thanks for all the input gents much appreciated..
