Thanks...I assumed that the Hydrastar wiring was not the issue because it worked with my Buddy's truck. That being said...maybe my trailer plug is not wired correctly or has a broken wire. I will use the roadmap you provided.
Thanks again!!!

Now my Buddies truck will not work with the brakes and maybe they never worked or something has happened in the mean time???
I am talking with Hydrastar but so far no answers.
They cannot figure out what this is (attached picture) and iyt is not referenced in the manual?
This did NOT do anything:
Step 4
• Leave the white wire connected to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. • Connect the blue and black wires together to the positive (+) terminal of the battery. • The motor should run and the unit should pressurize. • If this does not occur, the unit needs repaired.

I really appreciate everyone's help. The resolution was confounded by small leaks from the brake lines that were hidden inside the trailer rails. That, coupled with crossed wires associated with the emergency brakeaway battery caused a number of mis- diagnosis/ assumptions. Hydrastar really came through with technical support so a shout out to them too!
so All is resolved and I'm off and running well at least off and stopping.
