It happens to us when pulling up the ramp with the truck too fast. Otherwise, my issue is bending the damn SS roller bolt because the bow eye sits in the roller. Upgrading to a grade 8 which hopefully won't bend.

It will bend or break. Your best option is upgrading to a V-shaped bow stop. There have been a few posts on this in the past.

I've seen boats go between the outer and inner sections of the roller, and directly contact the steel of the stand holding the roller boat. NOT good for anyone but your fiberglass/gel guy.
