Aluminum trailers not as strong?
Never been a fan of the strength or look of aluminum . Wonder how a steel trailer would have held up .

Full jack-knife or what hit the Freightshaker? (rear fender and arch/cab pinched passenger side)

Wow that’s a bad day

Not good advertising for MYCO

Well, that's why they put a rubrail on boats!

If you look closely, that was a violent jackknife. The trailer broke off around the truck. I guarantee you PBC will still continue to buy aluminum trailers.

Nothing wrong with aluminum trailers. I would never run a steel.

So the crash investigation team have already determined the root cause ................lol

Looks like a pretty substantial tow rig. I'd be more concerned about the cause of the accident rather than the damage. It's hard to guess if any other trailer would have held up better. Was it an issue with brakes from the trailer end or the truck end? Maybe the driver made a terrible mistake and nothing would have survived or maybe there was another car involved?
