My boat is about a 100x easier to load/unload with the V catch retracted.
I used to use a trailer leg with handle cut off and a impact to retract/extend the v catch but they only lasted about a year.

I think I just made the most over engineered V catch ever .
Damn thing will lift the boat off the trailer if I`m not careful.

That's one way to clean under the bunks.
