How is the aux fuel tank plumbed in? Does it have a pump that fills the original tank or a valve to switch between the 2 tanks?

Most trucks are rubber hose so the Tee is easier to install. On this truck I had to take the whole fill assembly out and cut the metal fill tube .
As you can see it`s gravity ..

Just thinking out loud here. So if the fuel level in the aux tank is higher than the vent tube on the main tank, fuel would come out the vent if you forgot to close the valve? I wonder how hard it would be to run the vent tube higher than the top of the aux tank so this wouldn't be an issue? Electric or manual valve?

Just curious. Did they do a courtesy delivery to a local dealer, or did you have to go get it?

my son just bought a baby duramax gmc candy apple red at4 so far its pretty darn cool the 6 cylinder is super quiet they claim in the 30s for milage so we will see
