Has anyone ordered them with Fords bed cover or just go aftermarket?

I put a Truxedo sentry (roll up extruded aluminum with vinyl cover) on our 2019. It was considerably cheaper than the Ford option but I am a Truxedo Dealer. On the 2022 I'm gonna get a Retrax cover that rolls up into the box at the front of the bed. I do think the Ford covers are high quality and some of them may be sourced from Truxedo.

Mine has the 3.31 with electronic locking. My take on it is that it's all about fuel mileage. With 1,050 lbft I haven't missed the 3.73 gears that I've always had. I'll take the 22mpg and smile lol
I'm sure it will have allot to do with what you're doing with your truck too.

Most of the time the truck is being used around town and on the highway. A few times a year I'll pull a 10,000# boat. nothing serious. I can tell you that I never got 22mpg with the 3.55's. 18mpg at best.

I think the 20+ mpg are only coming out of the 20+ Super Dutys w/ the 10 speed 6.7L. If you're barely ever towing I see no reason for the 3.55 IMO.

I liked the way the 3.55 towed and ran down the highway. Is the change to 3.31 because of the 10 speed trans? I'm thinking about ordering with the 3.55 again. Any thoughts?

I got my '21 350 with 3.55 as that was the gear in my old truck and I love it. My old one was a '16 and I might get 16 or17 mpg with it but I now have 15,000 miles on my new one and I can get 22 or 23 out of it and it will do it at 75 or 80 mph.

What color is that? Is it the Atlas Blue? I can not pick between it and the Rapid Red

Yes, it's Atlas Blue. First year on the superduty, wanted something other than white or gray.

Still no VIN on our order placed roughly a month ago. Dealer says the order is "unscheduled clean". Hopefully it gets built....

That looks good, I ordered mine yesterday evening but in Red. Dealer said I have till the end of October to change anything. He looked up and in a couple weeks another dealer will be getting a Atlas blue vehicle in a couple weeks that I can look at. May change the color.
