Electric over hydraulic disc brakes

Has anyone heard of Deutsche Hydrapro, Alpha G1600 Brake Actuator (1,600psi)?
Curious what makes/models are worth purchasing and which ones are junk. What's the most common problems with electric over hydraulic.
Set up is going on tandem axle disc brakes.

Thanks for your time.

I used the Hydrastar. No problems at all. I bought the kit and on all of them now they include a unit that makes them work with OEM controllers.

No experience with that system/actuator. The biggest issue is keeping the actuator OUT of the water on a poorly designed ramp. You want the actuator as far forward and at LEAST 12" above the trailer frame rail. Remember it's an electric pump moving a hydraulic fluid. It's best not to let such go underwater when you are using a crappy ramp and the wrong tide, high water levels, etc. etc.

Same system here, great product and easy install.

Have never heard of this brand, but it doesn't look bad. Looks like a semi ripoff of the Hydrastar design, at least by appearance. Says it's interchangeable with both the Dexter and Hydrastar actuators. They have a "plug and play" complete unit available for $1449 (plus $149 for their version of the CAM if needed), which seem a tad high, as the same system thru Hydrastar is $1160 (includes the CAM if needed). Odd to me that the fluid connection fitting is on the side of the unit instead of the rear.

SO! I just called Hydrastar and talked with Shelly. She is going to have Tech Ty call me back about my questions I have with their 1600 psi kit. Since some members like there Actuator.
Hydrastar makes two kits. One plug and play. The other isn't. The plug and play is $200 more. I would lean to a $200 savings. Time costs me nothing.

When I was shopping years ago I remember seeing this.

Thank you all that responded to my question.
After 6 hours of research and talking directly to different manufacturers. I went ahead and bought the (EOH) Kit made by Hydrastar. I bought it through etrailer.com. It just so happens that they have a Special Price on the kit, $824.87 and free shipping.
This price was eye popping because at other sites the actuator alone went for over $1000. Even etrailer had the actuator alone for $857.00
So I called Etrailer to see if the actuator was the same. Or if it was a different part number with the same 1600 psi. Alix at Etrailer told me that indeed the actuators where the same. So I'm a happy camper. The link below is the kit I bought. Now I'll just weld the surge coupler ends.

I went with Hydrastar for my triple axle.. hubs, actuator and ALL for just over $2000.. works GREAT .!

As far a coupler.. I went with a Buyer's product unit.. BEST coupler I've EVER had.. hitches and unhitches EFFORTLESSLY . !

Two days after my last post I purchased Demco Trailer Coupler - 21K with the EZ-Latch. It should bolt right up to my Titan 10 Surge Coupler bolt hole pattern. I figured that a mobile welder would have cost at least $100 to weld up my surge coupler. For $24 more, I'd have a new one.
