Mine are most colors of the rainbow. They change or stay on one color. I will see what brand they are as I had someone install. The controller is in the box under the truck and pugs into trailer with a flat 4 plug.

I did get pulled over once for the blue under the truck. PoPo said NoNo. said they shoot forward so NoGO. I said Yes Sir Mr PoPo and 2 miles down the road turned them back on. I was 0430 in the morning going to work.

I wired mine so they dont turn on automatically. I bought a push button switch that i installed in one of the holes that comes in the wire harness junction box. Figured it was best to be able to control them separate in case its illegal to have them lit while on the highway.

I bought a roll of blue LED strips i had planned to do on my trailer but now im thinking it will be way too bright having it the length of the trailer. I'll store those for something else and pick up some ones to space out. like the ones posted above!

I like them. IT's kind of funny, though, that the drawings they give you don't include the diameter of the hole that needs drilled for the grommet. One can assume that, since they are referred to as 3/4", and that would fall between two dimensions, on larger than and one smaller than the pertinent diameter on the grommet in the drawing, that this dimension would be 3/4", but it sure seems like that would be a handy detail to include on the drawing (this is the toolmaker in me coming out). Is this the correct assumption? A 3/4" hole?


Did you just daisy chain them, as far as the wiring?

Yeah, I'm 99% sure 3/4". I used a step bit initially to make sure I didn't oversize the hole. They were the same as the normal 3/4" optronics marker lights. They are all wired in series.
