Re: Collector Car Insurance
I looked into it this summer. The thing I did NOT like was that places like Hagerty will only cover it for "pleasure use". Well, since I own a boat, I'm not driving my cars on weekends much. I like to drive them to work, which is NOT covered. I'd have to lie if I had a claim, which I do NOT want to get into. You can get appraised agreed value with State Farm, Allstate, etc without restrictions and it wasn't much different in price at all.
I drive 2 cars a total of maybe 1500-2000 miles COMBINED in the summers. In my opp, that is low enough mileage to justify me driving where I want when I want. Many guys drive more than that just going on cruises. There are so many restrictions, be careful.
Wish I had around $23k my wife would let me use on a car..... I want to buy a GTA someday, preferbly the turbo.

My car also came from lambo of Dallas, I deal with Todd Mathews at their sister location Motor Cars International.

12 sec for $500
Why did they stop producing GN's and Turbo TA's? Were they to fast and liability a factor? I had my a$$ handed to me a few times in my Z-28 by some modded GN's

I don't have their number right now but they would be worth a quote...Also try GEICO with agreed upon value GEICO quoted me $980/6 months for a 2003 Dodge Dually 4x4(Value $50k) and a 2003 Porsche TT(Value $180k) with $100k/$300k/$1,000,000 umbrella

Re: Collector Car Insurance
My buddy has a 89 Turbo T/A did the Hop up kit and nitto drag tires pulled a mid 12 second run not bad for a stock motor that gets great 6 cylinder gas mileage.
