As promised, here's some pics of the new 322. This is the plug for the deck mold finished and ready to make a mold. I'll post more as the boat progresses. What do you think?

I thought the old 30 had to be trashed after the deal with regal.......
or I guess the molds did, maybe he is just splashing one of his old boats!!! and streching the hull to make it a 32.

I always like the old 30's!!! Quick Hull!!! Very Fun to Drive!!! (I had one! :rolleyes: ) Kinda wish I still did!!

i have never seen one chin walk at 45 may be 80 if you dont know haw to drive it :D

The 322 will be a fast boat and will be very stable. You will not see any chine walk on any velocity at 45mph. If you know how to drive them, you will see none anyway. The 322 should be a surprize to the boating community. I look forward to driving one when they release the first one. I may have to won one. The 322 will be a very good seller I believe.
Stock power and be over 90, will be impressive.

That is the good thing about Velocitys!! They are a drivers boat!!

I can wait to see more of the new 32ft!! I'm glad its a new bottom than the current 32, I was never really that taken by that boat. This new boat may just be "Da $hit"!! I can't wait!!

I usually drive a couple of different Velocitys a week, and when I get in my Donzi now, it's boring. Unless of course, I try a high speed turn, then it gets exciting real quick, but not in a good way.

There hasn't been much progress in the last week because a couple of other boats had to get out. The boat should go to rigging next week.

When are you getting it in from Velocity. Gifford gets theres August 16th. Are you getting your sooner than that???? If so please post some pictures as soon as it comes in.

Ready for more updated spy photo's. Could the boat be rigged with the Illmor 625's and the Teauge drives? Could the boat be rigged with 496 HO Mags with the CMI headers and GGB muffler tips. Can you run 5 blade props turning OUT with out ill handling? Thanks for any info. Joe Murray

Man That looks great. The purple, yellow,and orange look great. Keep um coming cant wait to see it with the windshield, and the bolsters. Oh yea and the cabin.

Come on Brian/THONG I used less fuel than the 320 with the 496s because I did not have to spin as many RPMs to get the job done,I can cruise at 70 at 3500 RPM and the 496 boats are pushing alot harder to even come close. :D PS is your son still smiling after his boat ride.

Props turning out are much easier to handle around docks compared to props turning in. Props turning out also tend to lift the stern for more speed?. Let's let CMI & Merc work out the warranty issues. How does the pricing for the 496 HO Mag's vs. 525's vs. Illmor/Teauge 625's stack up. Merc's with XR drives. Does ITS effect handling and speed either plus or minus? My twin engine boating experience has been in a Formula 272 w 260's and 311 with 600 HP blower motors (props turning out) and currently a Black Thunder SC430 with 735 HP/SSM#5 (props turning in). Boat is shaping up nice. I am partial to black/silver/teal when color time comes. Thanks, Joe Murray

3-Will you cut the deck out and put a 3" spacer between the deck and hull to give me the same head room as the new 322??.
