Who is the guy in Fl. With the 390 with built bulldogs? Tell him to call mike at halls. There is something wrong with the setup or something. I drove a bunch of 390s. And Steves Stepps big red, it ran 83/85 mph. Not the race boat the 2002.

The Velocity is not a cockpit liner boat. It has old style floor style construction. The fit and finish is not of Formula quality by any stretch of the imagination. I looked at a 36 at the Emerald Coast Poker Run this last weekend in Destin and was not impressed. The rigging was not very impressive. Joe Murray

Its like anything else,,depends on weather/load etc. On a perfect day it runs 90, average is app 87 this past weekend at the N.Fl poker run with a full load (4 people/full of fuel) and high humidity it ran 85 on gps. The guy is a good friend of Steve Stepps and the boat spends more time at the factory and at Eickerts and at Innovation than it spends at home. Steve tells him and so does Bruce, that for the way the boats equipped it runds good.

How about this one?? asking 149,000 Canadian funds = 125K USD - it's a relatives boat & is no expense spared rigging, motors ect.

Well, I would not look at comparing a formula with a velocity for several reasons. The formual is heavier and less stylish than a newer velocity and is heavier and slower with the same power. As with any boat, what do you want to give up verus dollars. I believe Velocity to be as of high quality of any boat out there. Is the fit and finish perfect, maybe not, but am I willing to overlook 40K for fit and finish verus a extremely fast boat, and velocity does have nice quality rigging and finish and the answer is yes is a better value for the money
