Default Looking for 26-28' velocity

Hello,

As some of you may have seen from my previous posts, I'm looking for a new (to me) boat to replace my current 22' stinger. I'm looking to spend less than $28k, so it may rule out most velocity's except maybe the early 90's ones. Looking for good condition turnkey boat with a reliable engine. Or even a good condition hull with a bad engine or no engine for around $10-15k. If anyone has one they want to sell or knows of one, please let me know. Thanks!!

I've got a 1995 26 velocity (now called a 280)
454 Mag
Around 180 hrs total on boat.
Excellent condition, always religiously maintained.
3 year old aluminum trailer
Looking to get $30K OBO
You might be able to find some pics of it on here somewhere in the Velocity forum if you do a search on posts made by me.

Give me a call anytime for any questions.

Don,

Is it white and grey with some purple and green graphics? I see a pic on the velocity website from velocity fest 2004. Not sure if its your boat or not.

That sounds like it. White w/ "V" graphics in purple & teal.

Give me a call if there are any details you want to know about or just ?'s about Velocities in general.

Hey Century29,

I know a guy in Laplata that has a'98 260. It might be a little more than you want to spend but it is real clean.

Thanks Dave,
But i'm trying to stick to my guns by not going over 28k. I made a promise to my girlfriend and it wasn't like my normal promises. I think she actually expects me to keep this one. I've got a few leads on some early to mid 90's velocity's, and there really is no rush since there is snow on the ground. But of course I'd like to have it yesterday
