Arch260 installed some of the long EMI tabs on his 26' with very good results. He can walk you through the install (or even do the install for you). He's in Pasadena, MD.

I have the Dana 1000 tabs on my 290, and they are great. They are pretty much the same as the EMI tabs. Contact Fred at Trick Marine. Great folks to deal with.

I purchased Arch260's 26 last year and the long EMI tabs work well. The only issue I have had with the tabs is wiring related. Originally thought a solenoid had failed but it was only a bad connector. I'm told other people have experienced the same issue. Other than that they have been trouble free and do a good job on the boat.

I'm taking the boat up to American Performance Marine in Edgewater in two weeks to gets a little bit of work done. Who knows, maybe I'll have them slap a pair of tabs on it while its there.

Love the colors. I have the same combo on my 96 280.

Thanks vicious. I did a search on diamond marine and found their website. Why did you go with the 380's over the 280's? Does the extra size help?
