Good luck, you shouldn't have a hard time selling it. So whats next? Another Velocity or are you looking at something different?

Possibly a 41 Velocity, but there a couple of others on the radar screen too. I LOVE my Thoroughbred, but it's just too rough in Galveston Bay for my wife to be comfy in.

My buddy Bill (Captwk) really screwed me over by letting her ride in his 42' Sonic on a really snotty day. Life has not been the same since!

If it would've been just me, I'd never sell it. From the driver's position this boat ROCKS in rough water. I ran 70 plus coming back from Tiki Bar in Baytown one day, and had a blast! But Janet rode in the Sonic... For a passenger, it can get a little... lively!

So to keep my baby at my side, I have to go bigger!

Thanks for all the interest! Yes, this is the boat that Clay Avedisian bought new, and sold to Johnjan. John had it pretty well sorted out when I bought it. I've made a few minor changes, but then I just used it for a couple of seasons. It's ALWAYS been flushed within 20 minutes of leaving the water with SaltAway. And I changed the oil every 20 (or less) hours, and the drive oil every 50. I just put a new fuel pump and impeller in it, also...

Clay took excellent care of it when he had it as well. Great boat!

Yes, the boat has a full cover (a really nice, heavy one that John had built by a sailmaker in Austin) and a tan colored cockpit cover. Thanks for the PM's!
