We will be staying at Trumps I do believe, and that is good because before one of you smart AZZS say it they sell fuel there:drink: It will be a gret time and an excellant run.I do believe Rick would like to stay inside on the bay side but if someone wants to run in the Ocean I do believe that that will be an alternative plan, maybe Rick can fill us in on that he puts alot of time and effort in to this and what ever he decides I will back he and his lovely wife in what ever direction they want to go and I also am going to try and go to the North Carolina run if possible.

We can have both an intercoarstal and an ocean route for folks to choose from. We'll definitely do the "inside" route and see if there's interest for a separate offshore route conditions permitting that day. For about 2/3 of the inside trip there's plenty of water depth - for about 1/3 you need to stay in the marked channel but it's still an enjoyable ride. Trumps is a very nice hotel but very expensive in the summer as it's always booked solid (no group rate discounts):( . I'll be looking for some more reasonably priced alternative hotels. The Trump marina is first rate and also very conducive for sleeping on the boat (once the deck band quits!) as another option. The Forked River start location is a smaller but more upscale version of the Anchor Marine/NautiGoose facility.

Rick, what type of facilities are at the Trump? (Other than gas for Hyper!!) Depending on who goes with me I may sleep on my boat. Will be out of the question if I can get the wife to go!!!! Thank you.

I need a volunteer. I'm planing on taking off work the friday of VELOCITY FEST and take my boat up the Cheasapeke, through the C+D, down the delaware bay,and up to A.C.

The wife thinks I'm nuts so she is driving up to meet me friday night. I have a couple of spots open for anyone who wants to take a little boat ride. I plan on going rain or shine the only thing that would stop me would be fog(NO RADAR).One condition(YOU HAVE TO LEAVE WITH ME FROM MIDDLE RIVER) if your going your going ALLTHE WAY. Plus some gas $$$ would be nice.:) :)

What to ya think guys whos got the guts?????????

To far,and to many unknown waterways loaded with sand bars ans shoals and I personally would prefer to run with everyone as a group especially in unknown waterways.

Your wife is right! That's a long 1 day run - especially if the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean decide to kick up it can be very tough going. From Cape May to AC is an offshore leg since the Intercoastal is shoaled over plus we're starting in Forked River which is another 45 miles north of AC. I'd plan on 2 days to give your self and boat some lee way.

Trump offers first rate docking with dockside bar/restuarant, fuel and a small store but no mechanical services. When docking at the marina you get to take advantage of the Hotel's pool and other facilities. Here's the link: http://www.trumpmarina.com/index.cfm...-fbfe95d8a53f/
