Rocket Man is probably faster than me by several mph. I guess it is all in perception

Re: Rocketman
I say we all get together next summer as a group and run and have some fun and see who has got what.We can run in the flat and then run in the rough and see what boat large or small a one off or a production model/all Velocitys of course I would hate to see Reggie show up with his so called cat killer :D.Charlie and Steet and Rick, what do you guys think.

I think I speak for a fair number of Velocity owners who frequent this forum (many who have owned more than one) we admire the fact that Velocitiies are distinguished from other manufacturers for many reasons but mainly for not having ventilated hulls and can run as fast or faster than like powered boats. We just want to see one roll out of the factory with some big merc. power and some #6's to compare to those million dollar rides.

Re: Rocketman
If precedent holds, you can pretty much count on these major events to happen on these weekends next summer so we'll need to either plan around them or expect lesser participation. What dates look good?
June 2 Available, June 9 Jacksonville, June 16 NYC, June 23 Atlantic City, June 30 Available July 7 Available, July 14 Shore Dreams Special Olympics, July 21 & 28 Available August 4 Barnegat Bay, August 11 1000 Islands, August 18 Available, August 25 LOTO I think Richmond is generally in the first couple weeks of July STEET - Do you have a date for the annual Lake Norman run yet? |
Re: Rocketman
Rick, We are looking at the 2nd or 3rd week of May prior to Memorial Weekend, but that is tentative at this time. We will definitely have to look at the overall schedule so that we do not plan it on a PRA weekend or some other big Fun or Poker Run. I agree that early planning is important. I will follow up on this.
