I would think that Velocity should be calling every prop company they can think of to get a prop that would work. It's like selling a car without tires.

Chevy and ford go thru alot of tires the first time they build a new model.

The main dif is these wheels are 2k a piece. I talked to kenny and steve about it and they are sure they'll nail the setup....without spending all of O D's hard earned money

The R&D nut falls between Velocity and Mercury Racing, hence the pace. My expense is for the finished functioning product. Still waiting on a Merc for new prop and lower unit with longer skeg. Hell, at this rate, I'll have an '08. I'll keep you posted.

O-D you got to be kidding me ,if you don't have any answers buy now. I know I'd be pissed. How long did they say it would be? Any idea???

Prop came in Monday, long skeg lower unit on Tuesday. Steve tested yesterday and got 86 @ 5150 rpm, dead calm, 85degrees, 3/4 fuel, and 2 people. Still need to make a few tweaks, including air flow to rear where the intake is. Also need to trim the remote water pick up, which is causing some prop slip. Should see 90 soon.

It sounds good so far. I'm sure the tweaking will put you over 90, especially in better conditions. I'll bet you're dying to get out in it!

I can't make it South until the Jacksonville Poker Run on June 9th, so I will bringing it back North from there. I will be ready to go by then.
