The Velocity Fest Invitation Package should be on Velocity's web site early next week. I'll post a URL to it from here and also do an email blast to my Velocity Owners Group list.

This year's Velocity Fest hands down will have the best destination and a shorter, but perhaps more interesting course then last year's long trek down the wide open bay. We're less then 90 days away now so get out your road maps and make your plans for a great weekend with your fellow Velocity Owners! :D

I’m very pleased to announce our Velocity Fest 2007 overnight cruise to Atlantic City, NJ on July 28th - 29th. The planning for this year’s cruise literally started one week after last year’s cruise with recommended venues being posted on an “Unofficial Velocity Fest 2007” OSO thread! From there a Velocity Owners’ survey was posted in October and a vote was taken to decide the location. In January we had an owners’ dinner meeting attended by about 15 people to finalize the date. While the invitation provides a good overview of Velocity Fest 2007 - more detailed information, including a final agenda, will be forwarded to registrants during the week prior. If you have any other questions, please contact Brian Surguy (aka Thong Fellow) or myself. During the next week, I’ll be out of the country so it’s probably best to contact Brian for a more timely response.

Please register early and be sure to make hotel reservations (if needed) by the deadlines indicated as this is peak season in Atlantic City and accommodations and docking space is in very high demand and probably won’t be available after the deadlines.

Have a great boating season and I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in July!

Rick I didn't get a call from you this past weekend. I was going over $$$$$ yesterday and since were doing Jacksonville,N.C.,and V-F I'm not going to have enough $$$ for gas,room,food,beer...........ect.

So it I'm going to trailer up after all.

Just a clarification on Velocity Fest slip reservations:

For Friday night in Forked River: If you need a slip, please reserve directly with Southwinds Marina (or elsewhere if you like).

For Saturday night in Atlantic City: The Velocity Fest registration form reserves your slip at Trumps at the discounted $3.00/ft rate.

OK we're now only 3 weeks away. I've gotten registrations from quite a few posters on this very long thread but I haven't seen anything lately from Sick Stinger, Dkerns, Velocity Rick or Tripps. Are you still stepping up guys?:D

Date: July 28 - 29, 2007
Locations: Forked River, NJ to Trump Marina Casino in Atlantic City, NJ

Length: 90 miles round trip via ocean or inter-coastal route (your choice)

Invitees: Restricted to registered VELOCITY Powerboat owners and crew.

Registration: All boats and crew must be registered 1 week in advance because our reserved slips at Trumps are in high demand and may have to be released since this is the peak summer season. See below for registration info.

Venue: $150 per boat includes launch, Friday night reception for two, full buffet breakfast for two on Saturday, two Velocity T-Shirts for early registrants and a chance to win $200 worth of chips (or cash). Additional crew tickets can be purchased at $25 per ticket. Hotel (if desired), possibly parking and docking fees will be extra.

Safety: Poker Run 10 Commandments will be in effect and safety procedures will be covered at the mandatory Captains Meeting Saturday morning.

Hey Rick I blew the boat up so i wont be able to bring it down for the run. I was just wondering what will be done in AT. I plan on going down for the saterday/night and leave the sunday. I was wondering if there was a dinner for saterday night, a meeting place, or its just a go as you wish type deal. Let me know whats going on. If there is a dinner just let me know so i can pay for it ahead of time. Also what time would you be getting to Trump, hopefully I will be down there to see you guys come in. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your engine! We've all been there. :( There aren't any fixed plans for Saturday night so come on down and join us on the docks. We should be there by 1:00 PM. I imagine we'll go out as a group for dinner.
