Valve train only needed it's annual check and adjust, general look see to make sure everything is good to go. Since upgrading to the Isky springs and the Crower SS rockers I really don't get to concerned, but never hurts to check. Was completed yesterday and I go to pick it up this morning. I'll fire them up this afternoon on the hose if it dosen't rain again. One drive needs a new rear carrier which was chewed up a little when the prop shaft annode came loose and lost it's battle with the SS prop, 1/2 hr fix with a less than $50 part. Drive works fine, but why take the chance. Will likely take some time this week to change the carrier out, check the alingment. Been a real slow start this year, just too much chit going on between the house renovations, work and the rental properties. Finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and looking foreward to burning some gas.
You interested in the Fountain? Sell off that Velocity and we can have a real serious conversation.

Stinger I suggest moving up. The Fountain won't be much if any faster. I have the t-bred and it has taken me 10 hrs to feel comfortable at speed. With twin outboards the weight is diffrent, but ,I need to trim my boat till it feels like it is going to blow over then stablize with the tabs. Do you want something bigger or not happy with the boat. It is a drivers boat so unless you want something bigger get some advice on driving that boat and spend lots o mony on gas. It took me a while to get comfortable especially since this is my first performance hull.Best of luck. Stillsmokinbob.

Dude you are giving up way to fast. If you sell that boat and buy a 27 fountain you are backing up big time. Its obvious that you are having problems with your setup but you just started, you need to ride with someone that has driven a Velocity with big power and can tell you which way to go in you setup. I also saw your post about the Pantera. Pantera builds a nice rough water boat but HP for HP you will hide from a Pantera.
