Well, survey is complete and the purchase has moved forward. Should be taking delivery next Wed. I took ALOT of pics so some other eyes could point out any concerns. Let meknow what you think.

two thing no hyd steering and do most people turn the props in on 32 i am not sure

First,I think that the boat is good looking and it looks to be in good shape.The first thing I would do is add external steering for safety reasons,and then I would spend as many hours running it and learning how it handles in all conditions before you go out and really blast it.I run the props on my 320 both directions,when you spin them in it will go faster and give you more stern lift and feel alot looser,and when I run them out it settles the back of the boat down and get alot more bow lift and is much more stable at higher speeds.I have logged many hours in mine so any questions you have feel free to ask away.Good luck and I hope to see it in person soon.:cool-smiley-026:

I agree with the steering issue, I would love to add it. I priced the kits, not extensively and found the Imco kit to be $5000, sound right? I didn't think they were that expensive.

I've driven a 320 with 7.4 MPI power and you can get away w/o external steering - external is still better but it's not a safety issue as the boat handles very well in the 70's. Definitely turn your props inward for your power/speed range. Keep some degree of downward tab until you get used to its handling and then slowly lift up the tabs but not higher then neutral. I was really surprised to see the through hull water pick-ups. What are those for as you generally don't see those on stock Bravo set ups?

The boat looks very good for a 1999. It just needs some touch up from what I can tell. Good luck!

you may check with Tommy at WPM he is a good guy and may be able to save you some money. There are a hand full of us on here from Charlotte that run WPM steering with good results

Thanks for the comments and assistance Rev. I took good note of how the previous owner drove the boat and it felt very steady, even at 68 GPS, which is what he managed with 1/2 tank and 4 adults--I was impressed. The props are already turned in, good there. The pick-ups were placed due to the ramp the owner used was kinda shallow. He had a sea pump go bad and when replaced found some sand in it, which he assumed was from the shallow ramp area. I am not too familiar with low water pick ups, but for $1300 they must do something beneficial.:D
