If you want any info on Hustlers or Gladiators let me know. Have owned both at the same time and both 90+ mph boats. If you want a stand up boat with a cabin and want to run 100+ Id choose the velocity if they handle like they say they do at higher seeds. I never been in one moving but have checked them out at shows and the 39 is a nice piece!

To me, it handles just like my boat (29' VR-1). I felt completely comfortable driving the boat and was surprise how stable and manuveuable it was at over 100.

If I was able to build a 100+ Velocity, the 39 full-stagger would definently be my only choice.

Here's a pic of my wife and I riding with Ben & Carrie out running the helicopter on the way down to Key Largo after the miami boat show.....

It was a slow helecopter. He couldnt keep up at 140!!:D:D

I can answer that as I have been in one at those speeds, and of all the Velocity models, were I looking for one to go 100+ in, the 390 would likely be the choice.

The staggered 35 Fountain is a new 2008 model realeased at the dealer show earlier this year. The side by side 07 and earlier models are 10 - 15 mph slower. I believe I said it runs 100+. Any 108 mph boat should, common sense would have it, go by a boat that runs 100 or slightly over.

And where in the prior post did I say anything chitty about your Velocities?

you are right the boat we out ran was a 38 full stager with 600's i thank i know it was a staqgered boat i was told what power it had he never raised the hatch. also. Did i say you said something chitty about velocities, no i did not i may have been born on a Friday but is was not last Friday you are always adding your negative twist to your post's about Velocities

I am trying to get the deal right on the velocity can anyone tell
me what to pay for 03 39 500s boat looks real clean in pictures going to look at it soon as we can get #s close.

The 390 with the staggered 700/NXT drive package handles as if it were on rails. My wife could drive this boat at 100mph on smooth water. The boat is very stable at 115mph. I was out with a couple of friends a few weeks ago and one asked if he could drive the boat. The friend safely pushed the boat up to 92mph offshore with no effort. This was probably one of the most exhilerating experiences he has ever had driving a boat. As in all velocities it is comforting to know that you can turn the boat at a relatively high speed to get out of a bad situation.

115 is awsome in boat that size with that power.I want a 100mph boat and the 39 seems like the way to go just trying to figure out the hp i will need.Is the bottom on the 07 alot different than the 03 is the 07 lighter the #s are very impresive.
