Default Dash Question On 260

I Have An 06 260, On My Dash There Are Two Humps (port And Starboard) Housing The Gauges And Glove Box......
If I Removed These Humps Is There The Flat Dash I See On Other Velocitys Or Is It Unfinished?

Has Anyone Ever Done This?

Besides The Obvious Relocating Gauges And Switches Any Thing Really Difficult In Doing This?

Thanks... Joe

It should be flat on both sides where the humps are. If you are looking at taking them off, would you be interested in selling one that the glove box is by? I only have the one that the gauges are in and am wanting to get the other side to match.

It is flat under those humps, but if you remove them you will need to repair the holes in the area that they are located.Through holes and sometimes the compass is drilled through the dash. Also you will need a good Gel Coater unless you paint the entire upper section of the dash.Good luck

by holes you mean screw holes or much worse than that?
and i was thinking of doing carbon fiber in the new gauge locations...
its still just the start of the idea though
