velocity27 - how big is your fuel tank and what sort of mileage are you getting? (I ask because i put in 30 gallons, and spent 3 hours on the water, and the fuel gauge hasn't really moved... i'm wondering if it's really working or not?)

I got the gimble bearing, bellows, and exhaust all finished up... the only thing left is a small power steering fluid leak, then she'll be 100%

It may be broke. But if its like most boats, it'll read full until its 3/4, then it will start to move. This means when you hit 1/4, you better be within swimming distance of a marina.

Fuel gauge looks to be working... i'm thinking it's a 42-45 gallon tank or so...

ALSO - Just saw the old movie "Cop and a Half" and the boat that Burt Renolds jumps is a Regal Velocity!! The Trailer is the best I can find right now...

I believe velocity27's fuel tank has a sticker on top of the tank that says 59 gallons, but don't hold me to it. Its been a while since I worked on that boat. The sticker was located near the sending unit. Hope this helps.

If you slow down the last 10 seconds of that $hitty movie you can see the "PAD" in action, giving that boat lift.

its a 58 gallon tank sorry its taken me so long to get back to you been away for a while . and about the gas gauge mine doesnt start going down till i have about 3/4 tank in there then its a steady downfall .seems like it takes no time at all to use it up plus the guage i have is a VDO not sure if its the one that came with the boat so it kinda hard to read it still trying to figure out when i need to start looking for a gas pump
