-Mike When the bay kicks up, your 930hp engine isn't gonna help you get there any quicker than 300hp. We were lucky with a beautiful day during the last V-Fest. Its not normally like that once you get south of the northern bay. |
Ill put wings on it and fly over the waves just gotta get the speed to become airborn

Wasn't being rude, just thought I would put it out there. We have a small list of items to remove in hopes of reducing weight. The bolt holes are still on the platform for a small O/B,maybe we could give you some competition. |
Hey hyper dont worry about me just keep you a$$ in that seat and meet me there.

Boy this is going down hill fast.......... As long as everyone is safe and has common sense we will all have a good time. I DO NOT want to make a FUN RUN with a LOOSE CANNON!!!! I will voice my opinion if needed. I know that we have a good core group hopefully it will all turn out well. Sorry, I will step down off of my soap box now.

SO am i loose cannon or a guy who just doesnt know how to drive. Help me out here i just want to be sure on my classification. D dont worry about me i can handle my self and the boat. And you can come on my boat for the ride down if you want. Unless you think i wouldnt be able to contol it.
-Mike |
Mike, i don't think anyone is trying to call you out on your driving skills. I think they are just stressing that this is a "fun run" and not a race. Most guys doing this thing will be there for an enjoyable boat ride and then a fun night at the bar with other velocity owners. Safety is the most important thing on that trip.

Lance.......good luck on the sale of the wife :evilb:
|
You know anyone looking to trade a 280 for a slightly used wife? :D :D :D
|
LOL...I am not going there :p Speaking of the boat, it is coming along nicely, back seat is rebuilt, zeiger dual ram hydraulic steering came in last week and wind screen will be here next tuesday. I will post some pics when we get closer to completion.
|
Nice. I'm looking forward to seeing it at tiki bar at some point this summer. What did he end up doing for the windscreen? Get one from velocity? custom made?

-Mike You're welcome!:D The beak has an anchor locker in that space, which is somewhat handy, and I occasionally enjoy sitting on the swim platform. Must be a lot of Velocity owners enjoy a platform also, in that all the newer ones now have that feature. So, I'm just fine paying for the whole thing just as it is. And I believe I'll just let Mrs. Bill do his pudd pullin', if he's happy, all is good.:cool-smiley-026: |

-Mike Lots of space up there in the beak, full sized danforth style stainless steel anchor that is polished up to a mirror finish, with a 150' of line and 6' of polished stainless chain, standard equiptment with this manufacturer, nothing but the best. Gotta love it. :D Gotta tell you though, I do need some help with the "your brain right dont to". |

Nice looking set up! I'm thinking that Sick Stinger, aka Loose Cannon, will be looking for a piece of that Outerlimits. |
