Pepper-e I was given the prop catalog that the boat was in. Did you purchase the boat new? Thanks for taking good care of it. Its still in great shape for its age. Did you ever do any work on the powerheads. The hour meter shows 250 hrs. I just freshened up the powerheads. What kind of speeds were you seeing and what props were you running? Thanks for any help.

Yes, I did buy the boat new. I had Steve build the boat for me - in fact Steve's shop was so small when the boat was built that he and his Dad did most of the rigging themselves. I had the boat built - rigged with the porta bracket, reserve oil tank, etc... This was the first of six or seven Velocity projects I was involved in - so I am not much help on recalling prop selection, etc... Props have come a long way since I built this boat, but it seems we ran a chopper prop for all around use and others for top end - raker, henrich & other outboard props...
Right after the boat was finished, one of the engines decided it wanted a hole the size of your fist in it's side. It took several months, but Mercury did finally send a new powerhead. I think this boat ran in the low to mid 90's?
It is a fun - fast boat, but you do have to drive it. I sold it to a guy that lived in Jupiter, Fl and lost track of it after that. Glad to hear it still looks good - Pepper.
