Hemi, that is a nice looking boat. What kind of speeds are you seeing?
|
Frank's 280 hull is very fast.
|
Yeah, I had him in mind when I started this thread. Alot of times the good boats never hit the "market" before they are sold.

That may be a collectors item someday. :D How does your boat run with that power? Any photos of the swim platform? I bet that looks real good. Much more up to date than the standard platform. |
Thru Hull, thanks the fastest I've seen so far is 81.2 on GPS, but will constantly run 78-79.
Sox, I realy like the way the boat runs with the power (about the perfect amount for this hull) I don't realy have any pictures of the swim platform but yes it does help it look up to date. Thanks P.D. |

Nice looking boat Nash, what speeds are you getting out of it?
|
Thanks Thru Hull, getting around 70. having a little problem with fuel delivery at the moment. Thought it was the pump but have ruled that out. Have been told to remove the spring loaded check valve from the tank. Going to thy that as soon as it warms up. Too cold to mess with it right now!

I hear ya, summer can't come fast enough. Let us know what it turns out to be or if you need help troubleshooting.

Nash like a char i must say. Pretty much a simple problem doesnt alow enough flow/volume for the engine to run optimal so taking out that restriction allows the fuel to flow freely (kinda out right plain in saying i know). But the one thing i noticed if you have you fuel pump higher then the tank it will lose prime over a half hour period or so happen to me untill i dropped it to the bottome of my bilge. No im speaking from an eletric pump point of view and it may be just a rarity case
