Are you planning on sealing the exposed wood in the transom as well as apply a fresh coat of bilge paint on the bilge floor? I'd seal everything and want it looking as close to new as possible after going through all the effort of amassing parts and spending the coin to install.

I would do this now before you get all rigged up, some of those pics make it look like the wood edges at the cutouts have not been sealed with glass. Also have them pull the exhaust tips and check to make sure those holes are sealed as well. It was the exhaust tips on my Velocity that leaked and riuned the transom. Simple and cheap to do now, it's a ***** later, just ask Hyper. |

Well VV, I fired mine up on my Dyno today. Little embarassed about the stained transom, but the wifey didn't come straight home with the cleaner like I told her to! Just Kidding!:p
