Yes they go inside stopping the rams from extending futher. Not sure what is involved to install them but shouldn't be that big a deal. They are 3/4 inch thick and can add as many to get it the right length.

Testing today went a little better. Still have 7-800 rpm's left this was at 5000 RPM WOT with 34's. So if my 34's 4 blades are actually 33's that calculates to 9-10% slip. She's hooking up good and didn't take long to get there.

Hopefully i will have #'s to add soon..still waiting for the mechanic to get to my boat. if he takes any longer i'm going to start a thread looking for a mobile mechanic that wants a trip to Bermuda.. :-)

Default Have 32' Velocity

I bought a 32' Velocity last year - twin 600 hp on the 3rd run boat clocked 92 on the gps It was a real handful. This year I put CMI and sea strainers now I am looking into 32 or 34 pitch 5 blade on, is your performance better with 34 inch props?
