I have to go and buy a new Camera,I blew my old camera out of the boat last weekend when I was puttin a whoopin on a guy in a Fountain.Sorry Pete I could not resist and the guy in the Fountain is probably still pouting.I will take some photos and post them soon.

the 380 tabs work great on the 280. they will run at less of an anlge then the 280 tabs to control the boat, hence they won't scrub as much speed.

PS who needs em...pull em up it's faster

Not a problem here, if I still owned that boat I could whoop my own a$$. But I don't, so I'll just be content to cruise along in the low 90s and enjoy my cushy well behaved ride.

Its faster if your using them like training wheels to steady the boat. The way I see it is when they give the boat the right attitude using the tabs enable you to go faster.

Agree fully, and that was why I made the tabs larger on the 32 Velocity when I had one. Solid and stable is always going to be faster than chine walking all over and scrubing off speed every time all that hull touches the water.
