Thomas point light house tours
 

Inviting fellow boaters to tour the light house aboard the 41ft V bus . Can take up to 4 or 5 passengers food and drink stop optinal . Bus leaves week day afternoons around 3 pm from Annapolis area . Chambridge is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours away depending on traffic .I offer because I enjoy seeing the faces and the hearing the stories when we get back to the dock . Hey VV if you are ever in the area , hope you will stop in for a lift . I am surprised that more people weren"t interested .:cool-smiley-011:

i would love to also just the whole 800 miles of seperation suck. But hopefully my v will be running soon. I hope people do take advantage sounds liek a great time. Even just being about to sit on the 41.

well, took the "bus" tour earlier today, first i'd like to say NOTDA1 is a stand up guy, he graciously hosted an awesome ride for me and a pal and even gave me a little seat time :eek: second, man do i need a bigger faster boat.... well maybe not yet!, but he tossed this thing around like it was a walk in the park!!! This boat handled amazingly! after meeting with him and riding with him i can definetly(sp) appreciate his knowledge and experience!... :ernaehrung004:


and hell i've never even been on a performance boat that wasn't mine!! so to jump on a 41 that runs like that with someone who can drive the chit outta it was insane :evilb:

Drove down to notda 1s birthday party on saturday, and before the party the old race team [TROUBLE OFFSHORE RACING] went out for a blast in the 41', man, it sure was good to rip it up, just like old times. I have been busy working on my boat. Finally ran it yesterday with the new motor! Tied up the next 2 weeks now. Just hope the weather holds out so I can get it out one more time!! Me and little man saw some good numbers yesterday and I wasn't even pounding on it!:evilb::evilb:

Ray i will be giving you a call mid next week. Im doing the CT. Run in 2 weeks then i hope to shoot down to you and get an exciting ride!. Also just got mine back together today put it in ran awsome called MikeS helped me threw the whole build cant wait to hit up Carolinia with the velocity crew. Took a ride to the light house today .Weather man said 25-35 mph winds , with gusts over 45 .Found crazy big water both directions . The look on my buddy's face when we got back was priceless ! :ernaehrung004:

Hey Joe , Was hoping to see you and Sick for one more ride before the end of the mounth.Could not help myself with all that wind I had to give it a try .Almost turned around at the end of the river because of the waves were so big .When we finally did turn at the light house it was the crazyest part of the ride . Took it easy going out around 3000rpm , Coming back started at 4000 and wound it up past 5000 .Boat continues to amaze me in sloppy conditions .Still get a big grin thinking about it . :cool-smiley-011:

Biggest difference this year I got a set of 33 x 17 4 blade props . Used to run a set of worked over 30 pitch . Should be able to drop a little rpm and gain a some top end .Everything else was just normal stuff , change all fluids , filters , and tune both motors . Did have to replace one alternator , one trim selonoid , and one tab motor . Funny thing is I feel lucky cause , it was an easy fix . :party-smiley-048:
