Weekend of august 22nd in MD.....
 

Hey guy's had such a great time in MD. last time would like to do it again is the weekend of the 22nd good? was figuring on mears great oak landing again, any input would be great!

okay well called mears great oak today and they are booked, so any other suggestions, or did anyone else block a few rooms as she said there were a few groups going..... I've been busy as hell but figured 3 weeks was enough... guess not....

Joe, check out the Holiday INN Express in North east MD right off 95 and about 1.5 miles to where we put in at. We will be putting in saturday morning so you would only have to stay one night.Weather permitting we will be staying out on the boat Saturday night If you keep your boat in the water at Anchor Marina in N E MD they charge $35. Curt, your staying at Anchor marina Saturday night?

How many people are we talking and where do we want to meet. I was thinking a watermans run for lunch and back to Lloyds unless someone wants to step up and make an official run out of it. I know a few of the locals would run with us. Joe you are more then welcome to putt around with us all weekend. We will either stay on the hook or we can stay at the Goose unless they have a big poker run going on.

I don't know anything about the area, I am going to drop in at anchor marine, then wherever you guys lead I'll follow... I liked that jellyfish joels, is that a good meeting spot? Agagin I don't know the area so whatever works for you guys...
Curt I may tag along as long as I'm there... Bill had some ideas and will hopefully chime in...

Sounds Good to me. I'll be in the water Saturday and Sunday weather permitting. I usually run the upper bay from N.E to Rock Hall We could meet up with who ever, when ever (as long as they show up or call if they can't make it)If the Gang can't make it i Have a local crew that we run around with and we can do JellyFish Joels,Rock Hall and some local hangouts(we can throw an anchor in a couple of places and drink our own drinks,swim and hang out). I'm sure we can entertain you for a couple of days

Jelly Fish Joels and then Watermans for all you can eat crabs,and then wherever everyone wants to go,is Rick and Janet up for a run.

Up for it as always but I expect I'll be working on my boat instead. I guess I was destined for "one of those years" after a long run of good luck. Dropped a valve a week ago on a Poker Run - engine will be coming out this weekend to survey the damage. If it's real bad I may just punt the 2009 season and join everyone on the docks for some pain killers!!

Sucks to here that!! I take it that was the 390?? You could dust off the 22 and take it!!

Okay, just spoke to matt at anchor marine, and it all sounds great...
If anyone is going to stay at the Holiday inn express there will be transportation to and from anchor marine...
He told me they will be able to accomodate us at the nauti goose/ anchor for overnighting

Hey guys, I'm scrambling to get my boat fixed. My drive is unrepairable, the only good part left is the lower gear housing. I'm looking for a used one to get back on the water by the 22nd.

I just played phone tag with Joe. This sounds good, maybe whoever is launching north meet at anchor/ nauti goose, early, head to jellyfish joel's, then run to rock hall for lunch, then wherever with the nauti goose/ anchor marina and the holiday inn being the end of the night for whoever is staying ....

Anchor told me $35 to dock for the day/night, But we have to visit the nauti goose (should be no problem :drink:)

Leaving; Anchor Marina/ Nauti goose; 10:30- 11:00 am
1st stop; Jelly Fish Joels; 11:45-12:00 noon (we'll meet everyone from the south here)
From there, Watermans with the whole crew
and from there, wherever, then at the end;
I'm ending up at back at Anchor/ Nauti to stay at the holiday inn in North East (after a few cocktails of course)
Hopefully we can get out of anchor by 10:30 and get this started earlier

I'll be at the nauti goose 2moro night fro drinks I'm sure, if anyone wants to come hang!

Also anyone (2 at the most) who's out of commission but wants to come is welcome on my boat as there are only going to be 2 or 3 of us at the most.... (718) 300-0582

Sounds good, It might be a little iffy for saturday weather wise...Unless its raining i'll be at the Goose around 9:45 saturday. A few of us locals are running back down the bay on Sunday also, So if your in for a couple days of running Joe, bring some GAS money LOL Also we won't make it but they are having a party at Steak & main in North East Friday night Youu'll see it driving through town its right by Woody's
