He was a great man and he has been missed since his passing,never any ego with him just a great guy who loved the sport and it is a shame that others involved did not continue down the road he paved instead they have tried there own thing and it still has not worked out.R,I,P Gene
I was racing an "A" class boat at that time and Gene was a true gentleman. Always treated all races alike no special favors to the guys with more money and bigger boats.
