Hydromotive will return your prop for another, I believe there is a nominal fee, there lab finishing price is fairly reasonable at $300. I thought the kilo record was set on a stck 496magHO and not the hp500

Sending BBlades my Bravo next week.
On July 26, 2002, the new VELOCITY VR-1 set the APBA & UIM World Kilo Speed Record. Steve Kildahl and Bob Spitulski drove the record setting VR-1 with a 500 Hp MerCruiser engine that was certified with accurate horse power. The Steve Stepp designed hull out ran all other manufactures' boats including stepped and ventilated bottom hull designs. In 2005, the VELOCITY VR-1 Team kept breaking that record every year; they toped out at 80.95 mph with an Innovation built 425 HP Engine! Now that's cookin' with grease!! Once again the designed and built VELOCITY hull proved ultimate supremacy against all other hulls, including every "stepped and ventilated" hull entered. I asked Hydromtive for help and I basically was told it would have cost $400.No returnes or exchanges because I "only" paid $950 through Velocity (no hub) I just wish they had sold my the P5x. It is obvious its the one I needed. What sucke is that after thinking about it I figured thats what he would have sold me. when he told me the P5 I just figured he knew best. |
I wish they could sold me this prop.
Bob Spitulski, from Chuluota, Florida and Steve Kildahl, from Sarasota drove their new F1-56 VELOCITY hull, propelled by a single Mercury 525 EFI engine, Bravo XR drive and Sportsmaster lower teamed with a Hydromotive 4-blade prop to a sizzling 86.771 miles per hour on the Pamlico River course.

Talk to Mike at Hall propeller. He is the Velocity prop guy. He knows and has run Velocity. He also works with the factory.

Went from 79mph@7900 with my 30 4 blade Hydro
to 84.4 mph @5000-5100 After Mike at Halls propeller tweaked it. The man knows how to work a prop. Looking to get 3 more mph from a 28. I would have thought Hydromotive would had sold somthing like this instead of a p5. I have a 28 Bravo1 ,28 Hydro 4 blade small shaft welded hub and a 27 Hydro P5 for sale. [email protected]
