Default Porta-a-potty question.....

Well the time has come to prep my 260 for the water. I bought it without a port-a-potty. There is a bracket screwed to the floor to hold down a toilet. Before I go out and buy one I have a few questions.

1. What brand is in your boats?
2. How do you flush it? My old port-a-potty had a handel in the front that you pull out. However there isn't much room to pull the handel out unless it lines up with the small handel hole in the front of the flip up door.
3. What size is your holding tank? Is there enough room for a 5 gallon???

Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated.

When I bought my boat, I took the port-a-potti out and through it in the dumpster.
A yellow bucket now sits in place...
Lucky for me I have two boys and mom has gotten used to the yellow bucket over the years...

Thank you rchevell71 for the suggestions ............However your solutions won't work for my 8 year old daughter and wife.......

Hey Suumz, does how do you flush it. And before anyone chimes in with smart a$$ remarks, what I mean is it is pretty tight quarters. So does the flush handle line up with the hole that is cut in the front of the storage area or is there enuff room for you to pull the handle from within the compartment?

Suumz,

I bought the Thetford 135 Marine, just got here today. You neglected to mention this thing is no bigger than a toilet training seat for a toddler!!!!

Hang your butt over the side and take a dump or swim at liest 30' away and do the same(better etiquet). * Note* when doing the fore mentioned don't make a squishy face when you push or everyone will know what your doing also eat lots of fiber as fatty foods float. Works for me!
