Thanx, but I am going to order a 26p from hydromotive on Monday. They offer a pretty good exchange program, so If my boat doesn't like the 26p, they will exchange it.

a 26 hydro will turn less rpm then a 26 bravo but with a 1.5 i still say that is where you need to start . when you get the 26 hydro test it and the bravo and let us know the difference.

Here is a stupid question....
The 26p Bravo that I have is/was on a Sportmaster with a 1-1/4" Prop Shaft. I haven't looked at the prop very closly yet, but do these have removable hubs? If not I guess I won't be testing the 26p Bravo......

Nevermind. I just answered my own question....
It's a solid hub. So it looks like I won't be testing the Bravo 1 26p that I have.
My boat will be pretty heavy as I usually keep 3/4 - Full tank of gas, Full Cooler, Stereo equip. 3 batteries, wife and daughter. So What do you think would be better a Bravo 1 or Hydro ? Again, I am not looking to squeeze every MPH out of the boat. Just want a decent top end, but will be operation at the low-mid range most of the time.

if you all ready own the b1 i would have a new hub pressed in it(should be under $100) and use it as my starting point. hell it should be in the ball park of what your looking for and you might be dead on with it.
