Want to know if any owners will be running on the bay this summer. thats my home turf so i am out there all the time. also looking forward to the Velocity Poker run this sumer as well. If any owners wanna hook up this summer and make a run to the tiki bar or something let me know. To the New Velocity Owner welcome to the club and i find that tabs can help you get on top in rough water but you want to go for Kplanes because they are te best. hey there, I run on the Chesapeake but not all the time. Most of the time I am on the Potomac. There are quite a few of us around the area (Richmond/Northern VA/MD) so we will have to find a way for a bunch of us to hook up. There was a Velocity poker run in Baltimore but I didn't get up to it. If anyone has any details please post them. Welcome to the new Velocity owner, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

My sister lives in DC so when I go visit her we usually go boating out in the chess, she has a blowboat and my parnets have a Grand Banks they keep out their during the summer. Total combined speed 20knts. If I am ever out their I will look for the some velocitys, so if you are driving by a slow boat and see a guy waiving a velocity hat pull over and let me jump ship.

A Velocity gathering sponored by the local dealer, All Pro Marine, is tentatively set for the last weekend in July. Right now, I hear the plan is to have folks meet at Solomans Island on Friday night, cruise up the Patuxent Saturday and come back for a party on Saturday night. All Pro sponsored a poker run from Annapolis to Solomans last year, but the Bay was extremely rough, hence the change to the Patuxent. The parties were great though! Steve Stepp came up from Florida too.

I'm sure that more info will be posted when plans are finalized. In the meantime, there are quite a few of us on the James River -- come on down and cruise with us sometime!
